Very stable 24" diameter patio base (made with 1/2" round steel bar).  It's the perfect base for our 1" diameter Vertical Pole Components.  The base weighs 7 lbs. If it's placed in high wind areas, it might be advisable to secure the base with a couple of our special Patio Base Stakes if placed in soil. Or use 2 60lb tube sand bags if on a solid surface like a deck (available for $2-$3 at most home improvement stores).
