This feeder is guaranteed squirrel proof and your best option if you want to feed peanuts to the birds and not the squirrels. Put either Mixed Tree Nuts or Shelled Peanuts (Out of the Shell) into this feeder in order to attract woodpeckers, nuthatches, and chickadees. We recommend Mixed Tree Nuts since they are bigger and make the birds work harder to remove. This means you get more view time as the birds can't grab a peanut and fly away, plus you go through the seed slower.
